The company has launched an accredited academy in Berlin and operates four hubs across Germany to train workers and develop local leadership. Smalt plans to scale via a continent-wide network of franchised installation and servicing stores and to expand further into commercial PV and the south of Germany. Smalt operates a talent development and services platform focused on the green trades, offering specialized training and certification programs to create installation specialists for solar and heat pump systems. Its platform includes smart dispatching, AI-driven workflow guidance, and customer analytics to transform service fulfillment for B2B customers. The company runs intensive two- to six-week academies and continuous digital learning to upskill participants, including displaced individuals and recent immigrants. Smalt is already delivering services to large B2B customers such as solar and heat pump OEMs, energy companies, and green energy asset retailers. The first cohort has graduated and is actively installing solar systems across Germany. Smalt plans to scale via a continent-wide network of installation and servicing stores led by experienced workforce leaders, local entrepreneurs, and trades workers.
