Smowltech has developed a patented continuous multibiometric identity‑verification technology that verifies students and monitors behavior during online exams and assessments. The company was founded in San Sebastián in 2012 and has received funding support from the European Commission. Smowltech currently supports more than 100 educational institutions, companies and governments, mainly across Europe and Latin America. With the new financing, it plans to continue developing its monitoring technology, strengthen product and marketing teams, and consolidate its presence in key markets in Europe and Latin America.
