Social Value Portal, founded in 2014 by Guy Battle, provides an online solution for measuring and monitoring social impact. Its platform offers precise, standardised reporting and tools to measure, manage and report both financial and non-financial data for stakeholders. It supports more than 16,000 users across UK public sector bodies such as the NHS and Met Office and corporates including Accenture, Vodafone and Fujitsu. SVP is used by over 100 public sector buyers nationwide and is supported by the Local Government Association. The company has enabled users to track over £17bn of social value, up from £2bn at the time of its Series A in 2020. It has offices in London and Manchester. Social Value Portal intends to use the new funds to tap demand from public and private sectors and to launch a Social Value Academy to educate business leaders and embed social value into decision making.
