Overview

Socialsuite provides a software platform for ESG and social impact disclosure used to track and report organizational impact. The platform is adopted by over 160 organizations worldwide, including publicly traded companies across the ASX, NASDAQ, NYSE and OTC Markets and more than 100 non-profits such as Smile Train, YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters and The Prince's Trust. The company is based in Austin, Texas; Melbourne, Australia; and Vancouver, Canada, and is led by CEO Brad Gurrie; it was founded by Clara Ong, Ph.D., and Damian Hajda in Melbourne. Socialsuite closed a $4.25M Series A led by Pixiu Investments with participation from Tidal Ventures. The company intends to use the funds to further develop its software platform and accelerate sales and marketing, particularly in the United States. Socialsuite plans to hire 30 new employees in Austin and Melbourne. Its seed financing was led by Tidal Ventures and Salesforce Ventures. Socialsuite is a Melbourne-based software-as-a-service platform that helps organisations measure and report the impact of their work. The platform was cofounded by Dr Clara Ong and Damian Hajda out of Ong’s experience conducting paper-based social impact assessments in 2008. Socialsuite digitises impact measurement and reporting to replace manual, time-consuming data collection and aims to apply accounting-like rigour to impact outcomes. Brad Gurrie was appointed CEO last year. The company reports clients across Australia, Canada, South America, North America and the UK, including Marks and Spencer, Salvation Army, Australia Post and SES. It is also gaining early traction with impact investors such as superannuation funds, banks and foundations.
