  • Teramot

    Participated · Equity · Jul 2026

Founded in January 2022 by Bruno Ruyú and fellow Instituto Balseiro alumni, Teramot offers an autonomous data engineering platform that automatically connects and normalizes disparate corporate data sources so AI agents can consume them. The company reports reductions of up to 90% in implementation time and cost savings around 10% compared with traditional data integration services. Teramot serves enterprise customers across Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Paraguay, including Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, La Caja and Grupo Sancor Seguros. The startup projects US$2 million in revenue for 2026 and is using its recent funding to consolidate regional presence and pursue expansion into the United States and the Middle East, with plans to open a Silicon Valley office. Its founding team's strong technical background from the Instituto Balseiro is highlighted as a core competitive strength.

  • Cloud Retail

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2025

Cloud Retail provides a modular e-commerce platform built for mid-sized and scaling retail businesses that have outgrown plug-and-play systems. Its product ecosystem includes conversion-optimized checkout flows, intelligent order management, warehouse orchestration, delivery control, and embedded business intelligence. Designed to replace fragmented tools and eliminate operational challenges, the platform gives brands full control over the customer journey from checkout to delivery. The company raised $3M in Seed funding on April 23, 2025, and plans to use the proceeds to support growth of its operational retail management ecosystem. The round was led by Somersault Ventures with participation from Pre-Seed to Succeed (backed by AltaIR Capital), Yellow Rocks, Smart Partnership Capital, I2BF Venture Capital, AddVenture, and business angels. Cloud Retail was founded by Marat Bolatov and Artur Shamalov and is based in London, UK.

  • METROSPEEDY

    Led · Seed · Sep 2021

MetroSpeedy raised $5M in seed funding to scale its last-mile delivery operations. The company intends to use the funds for technological advancement, additional fulfillment hubs, expansion into new markets, and talent acquisition. Led by CEO Nancy Korayim and based in New York City, MetroSpeedy provides same-day and next-day delivery services for businesses across industries. It leverages eco-friendly electric vehicles to provide zero-emission delivery wherever possible and operates a proprietary technology platform that powers an analytics aggregator. That technology consolidates deliveries across businesses so customers can receive multiple items (prescriptions, dry cleaning, groceries) in a single delivery. MetroSpeedy currently enables over 1,000 deliveries per day.

  • Jiffy Grocery

    Participated · Seed · Mar 2021

Jiffy runs its own network of dark stores and an app-based fulfilment service promising fresh grocery delivery in roughly 15 minutes. It currently operates eight London stores and serves about 20,000 customers across six delivery zones. Couriers are liveried employees (e-bike and moped riders) rather than gig workers. The company also offers Click & Collect at two stores and sells its q-commerce tech platform to selected partners (for example, Send in Australia). Founders describe themselves as q-commerce veterans; co-CEOs are Vladimir Kholiaznikov and Artur Shamalov, and other co-founders fill CTO, platform and marketing roles. Jiffy plans to expand across London (aiming to cover inside the M4 by year-end), pilot in towns and target towns of 100,000+ population while continuing international tech partnerships. Jiffy operates a dark-store model to deliver fresh groceries and household essentials in around 15 minutes, offering a product range exceeding 2,000 SKUs per store. It plans to launch its first stores in London as early as this month, targeting neighbourhoods including Westminster, Waterloo, Lambeth, Battersea, Clapham Town, Shoreditch, Bethnal Green, Hackney, Whitechapel, Stepney Green and Leytonstone. The company intends to open a further 20 local fulfillment hubs across the U.K. later this year. The founding team includes former managers from Sainsbury’s and Deliveroo and is led by founder Artur Shamalov, who previously started several companies in the food and delivery space. Jiffy says it will focus on a hyperlocal expansion approach rather than rapid global roll-out. The startup is still operating in stealth mode, reports strong inbound investor interest, and is already out fundraising again. The article notes the space is highly competitive and capital‑intensive, and observers view Jiffy’s current funding level as modest compared with better‑funded rivals.
