Solcial is building a decentralized, censorship-free social network on the Solana blockchain that emphasizes fast, low-cost posting and monetization opportunities for content creators. The platform plans to host content sharing, news following and even asset trading within a decentralized environment. Solcial has not yet launched and is currently courting the crypto crowd while designing creator monetization features. The team plans a December launch and is hiring marketers and project developers to prepare for it. Around 5% of planned SLC tokens are earmarked for seed funders, a detail tied to the company’s early financial structure.
