Sophrosyne Technologies is a Bengaluru-based, fabless semiconductor company founded in 2022 that is building an advanced system-on-chip (SoC) designed for health-monitoring wearables. The chip integrates analog signal acquisition, power-management circuitry, and software support to capture ECG, PPG, respiration, temperature, and other biosignals from a single, compact architecture. By collapsing several sensing functions into one low-energy package, the company aims to help OEMs create smaller, more capable, and longer-lasting devices. Sophrosyne has progressed from prototype silicon to early validation and has secured a $1.2 million MeitY DLI grant to support further R&D. The newly raised seed capital will fund full-scale silicon development, firmware expansion, and early customer deployments in India and abroad.
