Founded in 2005, Space Cycle operates premium boutique fitness studios in Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei. The company offers indoor cycling, barre, yoga and dance in high-tech, music-curated studios with in-studio software, lighting, audio and video-mapping technology designed by 3-Legged Dog (3LD). It currently operates six studios, has an online store and a proprietary mobile booking app, and has organized hundreds of fitness-related events. Space Cycle has strategic partnerships with Nike, Lululemon and Mercedes Benz. The company intends to use the funds to add new concept studios throughout China and to develop its online platform to grow its offline-to-online presence. Space Cycle closed a RMB100m Series B to support this expansion.
