Spacemob
New York, NY, United States
Overview
Spacemob operates co-working spaces and a membership ecosystem that includes booking software, health insurance, payroll, a payment gateway, and access to on-demand specialists. Founded by Turochas “T” Fuad, it currently has one flagship space in Singapore with a second Singapore location and a Jakarta space under development; early tenants include General Assembly and SurveyMonkey. The company uses an asset-light "operator" model, partnering with property developers or owners on revenue-sharing or no-rent arrangements to scale quickly. Spacemob says the space is complemented by an ecosystem of services so the physical space becomes secondary to the community. It has invested in the regional tech ecosystem as well, including a stake in E27’s $2.2M round. The startup plans to expand to 30 spaces across Asia Pacific over the next three years, targeting Southeast Asia, North Asia, Australia, and Hong Kong; immediate pipelines include Thailand, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
