Hansa Customer Equity (Hansa Cequity) is a Mumbai-based marketing analytics and customer-strategy firm offering consulting in customer strategy, data management, analytics, campaign management, CRM and digital services. The company was started in 2008 by RK Swamy Hansa Group along with S Swaminathan and Ajay Kelkar and focuses on CRM, social, mobile, analytics and cloud (SMAC) services. Hansa Cequity says it maintains 85 million unique customer profiles, analyses 5 million customer conversations and runs more than 750 automated campaigns every week. Management is pursuing a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) strategy to deliver proprietary product APIs and enable customer-intelligence on demand and real-time marketing. The company has stated plans for global expansion into key markets where data-driven marketing is gaining attention from CMOs and CIOs. Hansa Cequity recently completed its first external funding, which affects its near-term financial position.
