Spinnakr is a real-time web analytics platform that automates data-science–level analysis for web publishers and delivers actionable recommendations. Its "insight engines" track and rank events, surface them in a feed, send alerts via email or browser notifications, and enable customers to act on recommendations by manipulating site content through a visual editor. The product is platform-agnostic and can target visitors by loyalty, geolocation, search queries and other signals, while leveraging trends across its network of roughly 150 million visitors. Spinnakr completed a six-month closed beta with about 200 companies and maintains a waiting list of around 3,500. Pricing plans will include a free level and paid monthly tiers charged by number of visitors. The company has a six-person team and was founded by Adam Bonnifield and Michael Mayernick, who previously built online targeting tools for political campaigns. Management says it plans additional product launches later in the year aimed at making websites more contextual, fluid, and conversational.
