Spiral was co-founded in 2018 by Elena Zhizhimontova and Andrew DiLosa, who previously worked as software engineers on Amazon's Fire TV division. The company offers AI-powered software that aggregates and analyzes customer feedback from multiple channels to help companies spot bugs and other issues. Spiral sells to medium-to-large customers in banking, fintech, connected devices and insurance, and its software is used by more than 12 clients. The 7-person startup is expanding its engineering and sales teams and aims to reach a headcount of 12 by the end of Q1 2023. Leadership says they are seeing substantial incoming customer inquiries even as budgets tighten, with demand for conversion and retention-focused solutions. Spiral participated in Amazon’s Alexa Accelerator and previously raised $2.4 million in 2019.
