STAYmyway develops a mobile key system that replaces physical room keys for hotels and tourist apartments. The company was founded and is led by Faustino Fernández and operates in the IT services sector. In February it became Accor’s exclusive mobile key provider under a long-term agreement. Accor has over 800,000 rooms worldwide; STAYmyway expects to cover 50,000 rooms in 2021 and to expand to at least 50% of Accor’s rooms over the next five years. The company plans an intense international expansion and intends to open a new funding round to finance that growth. It recently closed a financing round and received support from a public ENISA participative loan under the Línea Crecimiento.
