Led by CEO and co-founder Shahar Erez, Stoke works with companies of all sizes, including customers such as SimilarWeb, Scale.ai and TripActions. The company is based in Palo Alto, Calif. Stoke raised $15.5M in a Series A and has $20M raised to date; it intends to use the funds to expand across the U.S. In conjunction with the funding, Battery Ventures partner Itzik Parnafes is joining Stoke’s board. Stoke provides a talent-on-demand platform that enables companies to find, hire and manage freelancers at scale. The system offers a management platform for organizations’ external workforce and integrates with popular online freelancer marketplaces, allowing users to search those sites from Stoke’s unified interface and onboard new people. The company was co-founded by Shahar Erez and Hilik Paz and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Stoke raised $4.5M in seed funding to support continued platform development and operational expansion.
