  Stoke is a secure all-in-one platform that enables companies to hire top talent, set up automated onboarding workflows aligned with government guidelines, and pay multiple invoices across 190 countries. The platform gives management, finance, and HR teams full visibility and control over budgets while automating legal and tax compliance. Led by CEO and co-founder Shahar Erez, Stoke works with companies of all sizes, including customers such as SimilarWeb, Scale.ai and TripActions. The company is based in Palo Alto, Calif. Stoke raised $15.5M in a Series A and has $20M raised to date; it intends to use the funds to expand across the U.S. In conjunction with the funding, Battery Ventures partner Itzik Parnafes is joining Stoke’s board. Stoke provides a talent-on-demand platform that enables companies to find, hire and manage freelancers at scale. The system offers a management platform for organizations’ external workforce and integrates with popular online freelancer marketplaces, allowing users to search those sites from Stoke’s unified interface and onboard new people. The company was co-founded by Shahar Erez and Hilik Paz and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Stoke raised $4.5M in seed funding to support continued platform development and operational expansion. The product focuses on helping enterprises manage and scale their external freelance workforce.
