Stowga operates an on-demand marketplace for buying and selling warehousing and related logistics services, led by co‑founder and CEO Charlie Pool. The platform aggregates storage capacity and also connects transport, fulfillment and ancillary services such as on‑demand insurance and factoring. In its first 12 months the company built a network of over 4,000 warehouses in the UK and served customers ranging from startups to publicly traded international corporates. Stowga raised a £1.5M seed round and has £1.8M raised in total to date. The company plans to use the funds to accelerate platform development and prepare for an international roll-out in 2018. CBRE has entered into a strategic relationship to act as Stowga’s real estate advisory partner.
