Suavoo is an on-demand beauty service app that delivers carefully selected and trained professional hairstylists and makeup artists to a user’s location. Founded in 2015 by Linda Absberg (CEO) and Christian Zanders, the company is based in Goteborg, Sweden and is still operating in beta. The app allows users to choose a stylist or service for immediate availability or to book for a specific date and time. Suavoo raised $350k in funding from investment network Wellstreet. The company will use the funds to launch in Stockholm and in Los Angeles, CA by the end of the year and to expand into other big cities later. The financing is intended to support the app’s rollout and geographic expansion.
