SwipedOn builds an iPad-based visitor management system that replaces paper visitor books with a modern, automated check-in, badge printing and staff-notification workflow. The software links multiple locations, notifies employees of visitor arrivals via email and messaging, and can track staff movements in the office. Launched in 2013, the product is used by about 2,300 customers in 29 countries and has tracked the status of roughly two million visitors worldwide. The company reported ARR growth from $846,000 in September 2017 to $1.6M in August 2018 and employed about 20 staff at the time of sale. Management and the SwipedOn team remained in Tauranga following the transaction, and the company planned to seek new premises and hire nine additional staff for software development and sales support.
