Syntach focuses on developing the Syntach Cardiac Support System for patients with heart failure and also works on mitral valve intervention systems. The company collaborates with several academic research centers, including the Cardiac MR Group at the Department for Clinical Sciences and Clinical Physiology at Lund University. It intends to use the recent financing to advance development of the cardiac support device. Leadership recently changed with Patrick N.J. Schnegelsberg joining as CEO; he has over two decades of industry experience, including roles at Occlutech Group and other medtech/biotech firms.
