TableAir provides an IoT sensor and cloud-based technology that helps people utilize their work environment in a smart and connected way. The product layers sensors and cloud software onto existing office furniture so users can discover new capabilities in familiar desks and make workspaces responsive and adaptive. Since launching in 2015, TableAir has raised over EUR 0.7M from Practica Capital and angel investors. The company signed an investment agreement with Midform Holding ApS, a deal presented as a strategic partnership to accelerate digitalization of workspace experiences and integrate TableAir’s technology into Midform’s furniture solutions. Midform’s global client base and production experience are highlighted as enablers for faster market adaptation and broader customer access. TableAir aims to strengthen its position in PropTech and the smart sit-standing desk field through this partnership and continued electronics and software development. TableAir UAB makes smart, ergonomic standing desks that combine novel user interfaces with design-forward aesthetics. Users pair their smartphones to set standing and sitting intervals and the desk automatically changes height when cycles end; the desk also senses hand distance to raise without a phone. The company describes the desk as an "engaging" product and has received international media coverage in Wired, Slate, and the New York Times. Its team includes specialists in electronic engineering, mechanics, and user-interface design, and director Lukas Lukoševičius previously worked on user interfaces in London for JPMorgan. TableAir is conducting intensive R&D, sells its products worldwide, and is preparing an updated TableAir model while negotiating with U.S. retail chains. The recent Practica Seed Capital investment helped convert a hobby-built device into a fully engineered, certified product.
