Taimei Technology develops TrialOS, a platform that connects hospitals, drug makers, regulators, and patients across clinical research workflows. TrialOS comprises more than 20 applications managing clinical research projects, trial documents, patient data, and an adverse drug reaction alerting system. The company says TrialOS supports one third of registered clinical research in China and one fifth of adverse drug reaction submissions. Taimei also offers software to help drug firms with marketing and regulatory licensing. The company disclosed it raised RMB 1.2 billion (USD 176 million) in a recent financing round.
