Tame
Vestergade 18E, 3rd floor, Copenhagen, Capital Region, 1456, Denmark
Overview
Tame began as a digital event suite for offline corporate events and in March 2020 pivoted to a highly customizable virtual events platform. Its platform is primarily used by enterprise customers for sales events and is sold to marketing or HR departments rather than large trade fairs. The pivot generated 700% organic revenue growth last year, achieved without sales or marketing. The company plans to use the new funding to scale headcount from 20 to 60 across Copenhagen, London, and Krakow, expand into the U.K., and grow revenues. Tame is led by CEO and co‑founder Jasenko Hadzic. Investors include VF Venture, byFounders, and three angel backers, reflecting local investor support for its expansion. Tame is a Copenhagen-based, design-driven SaaS built to solve the chaos of event planning by offering an all-in-one tool designed for teams. The product includes event program building, speaker contact and status management, and supplier, sponsor and exhibitor management. It supports team collaboration with shared file storage, notes, tasks and messaging. Tame also provides ticketing features with customizable ticketing pages and an API to integrate with other event technologies. The company operates a freemium model—free for free events and a fixed fee of €1 per paid ticket—and plans to introduce a premium monthly subscription as its primary business model. The startup launched public self sign-up last month to enable fast onboarding, and its founders say they have organised more than 30 large conferences and events.
