TaxiForSure is an online taxi-booking aggregator that connects users to car/cab rentals and offers point-to-point pick-up/drop, airport transfers, local four- or eight-hour packages, outstation packages and luxury cars. The service is run by Bangalore-based Serendipity Infolabs Pvt Ltd and was founded in June 2011 by Raghunandan and Aprameya Radhakrishna. At the time of the articles, TaxiForSure was operating in Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi and handling around 4,500 transactions per day. The company has raised a total of $14 million to date and plans to use the new capital to expand operations to 10 additional Indian cities, including Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Indore, Bhopal, Baroda, Surat, Jaipur and Chandigarh. Founders have prior experience in business development and consulting roles, and the startup competes in a rapidly growing online taxi-booking segment in India.
