Tembo offers a managed Postgres platform designed to let organizations use Postgres for transactional, analytical, and AI workloads with enhanced observability, compliance, and developer experience. The company positions Postgres as a single foundation to reduce modern data-stack sprawl and support rising AI data demands. In the past six months Tembo has added senior hires, including CTO Samay Sharma and engineers Jason Peterson and Shaun Thomas, and brought on David Wheeler to lead efforts to merge Trunk and pgxn and support Tembo’s involvement in the new pgEF foundation. Financially, the company reported a sharp rise in ARR in the first half of the year that is still steadily climbing. Tembo plans to use new resources to grow ARR through strategic hires, advertising, product development, and building its developer community.
