Texture offers a unified operational layer that connects to AMI, SCADA, batteries, EVs, solar infrastructure, smart thermostats and other systems to consolidate grid data without requiring system replacement. The platform is designed to help utilities identify transformer overloads, voltage anomalies, and outage risks and can make utilities operational within days by organizing disparate data into a single model. Texture has established first-party integrations with over 50 OEMs, including Tesla, FranklinWH, Honeywell, Ecobee, and SolarEdge. Its initial traction has come from utility cooperatives, and Vermont Electric Cooperative is a named customer using the platform to monitor its grid and manage distributed battery systems. Texture announced a partnership with NRTC to deliver DERMS capabilities to co-ops and plans to use recent funding to grow its team and further develop the product, with total funding now about $23 million.
