Thalamos offers digitized versions of the forms required for admission, treatment, transfer and discharge under the Mental Health Act, providing a streamlined digital system that reduces errors and eliminates unnecessary delays. The platform is used by seven mental health care providers and gives over 40,000 practitioners access to tools that speed up access to care for patients in crisis. The company was founded in 2018 by cousins Arden and Ross Tomison and is based in London, UK. Thalamos raised $1M in seed funding and plans to use the proceeds to expand the team and strengthen the product. Hadley Diest of Ascension will join Thalamos’ board as an independent advisor. The product’s focus is on improving clinical and administrative workflows to allow vulnerable patients to access life-saving mental health treatment sooner.
