The Easy Company has launched a public beta of a consumer-focused “social” crypto wallet available on iOS and Android after a 30-day private test. Its wallet emphasizes user-curated profiles, social discovery, and Instagram-like NFT presentation where users can swipe to view their own and watched NFTs. Features include cross-chain compatibility (currently Ethereum and Polygon), a Signal rating system for community reviews and fraud-flagging, the ability to link social identities and send crypto to usernames, and open-sourced wallet code. The product is positioned to bring web2-style consumer design to web3 while preserving decentralized wallet functionality. The company plans to expand blockchain support to additional chains and continue building out social product features. Financially, The Easy Company completed a $14.2M seed financing to fund those product and blockchain expansion plans.
