Last is building a mobile local-discovery product that leverages what users’ phones know about them and their physical location to surface recommendations and make exploring easier. The company was founded by Gowalla co‑founder Josh Williams and designer Adam Michela; the team also includes front‑end developer Tyler Stalder, illustrator/designer Brian Brasher, and photographer Daniel Agee. Williams has said he is staying mum on specific product details, but that location and personal device data will be central to the experience.
