Self Space operates a hybrid therapy model combining in-person, high-street therapy spaces with virtual sessions available seven days a week. Since launching in 2019, the company has facilitated more than 60,700 sessions across four locations and opened a large Soho site that adds capacity for 17,000 sessions annually. The team has grown from five people to 100, and Self Space reports a 48% annual increase in sessions delivered. The company works with more than 150 businesses, including RedBull, Omnicom, Papier, Huel, Depop, Google and Havas, providing one-to-one therapy, training and psychoeducation. Planned uses of new funding include opening two new high-street locations, hiring 75 therapists, expanding in-person offerings, creating pop-up therapy experiences in the UK and Ibiza, and further developing a tech-led psychoeducation platform.
