Thereson has developed the THERESON TMR™ technology, which delivers Pulsating Electro‑Magnetic Fields (PEMF) at IP‑protected frequencies for treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. Its CE‑marked DIAPASON™ system comprises a console with patient interface and two emitters for systemic (“total body”) and local therapy. The therapy is designed for home use, with simple procedures lasting about 25 minutes twice daily for 4–8 weeks. The company intends to use new funds to initiate commercial sales of DIAPASON™, hire sales and marketing specialists, and conduct further clinical research. Financially, Thereson completed a €1M financing round and has now raised approximately €4.5m in total. The business is led by CEO Claudio Simmi and Scientific & Technical Manager Enrico Fermi and was founded in 2011 in Vimercate, Italy.
