TissenBioFarm

No. 315, 66-1, Yunghapgisul-ro, Heunghae-eup, Buk-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Republic of Korea

Overview

TissenBioFarm develops cultivated whole‑cut meat products by combining animal cells with functional bio‑inks that aim to replicate conventional meat’s texture, marbling, and nutrition. The company says its approach is highly scalable and capable of mass producing whole‑cut cultured meat beyond laboratory scales. It has created three bio‑inks that it claims can be mass‑produced for about $0.33 per 100 grams and that have applications in both cultivated and plant‑based meat. The new funding will support expansion of its research facility and the construction of a production system outside the lab. TissenBioFarm is also working on cell proliferation and differentiation technologies ahead of consumer launches, pending regulatory approvals. Leadership emphasizes reproducing steak‑like thickness, marbling, taste, and competitive pricing as near‑term objectives.
