Tokyo Smoke is a cannabis lifestyle brand led by co-founder and CEO Alan Gertner that seeks to bring sophistication and design to the cannabis space through immersive experiences and designer retail locations. The company sells coffee, clothing and designer products in its retail stores. Tokyo Smoke recently acquired fellow designer cannabis brand Van der Pop. The company closed a Series B financing of approximately CAD$6m, which included CAD$4m announced in August. In collaboration with Aphria Inc., Tokyo Smoke will release four branded cannabis strains in the first quarter of 2017.
