Overview
Tonik Financial is the parent of Tonik Digital Bank, the Philippines’ first fully digital bank delivering savings and loan products exclusively via mobile channels. Over the past three years the bank has pursued a profitability-driven expansion, enlarging its loan portfolio 15× to US$83 million and lifting annualised revenue to more than US$40 million. Regulatory filings show loss before tax narrowed 25 % to US$21.9 million in 2024 as interest and non-interest income climbed 23 % to US$24.6 million while operating expenses held steady. The fresh capital will strengthen regulatory capital ratios required by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and fund technology aimed at customer acquisition, cross-selling and automation. Management continues to invest in a credit-led growth model while safeguarding capital discipline. Tonik has also been admitted to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Asia Startup Hub 2025, indicating potential IPO aspirations. Backed by an international investor base, the company is positioning itself for sustained scale and eventual public-market access.
