Tract operates a moderated online community and platform that lets kids learn, create, share, and teach through video-based, project-centered lessons. The product integrates with Google and Clever for sign-in and account management and lets teachers quickly set up classrooms and assign ready-made project plans from their LMS. In its first year Tract attracted roughly 30,000 members who posted 5,000+ lessons that generated 100,000+ projects; members now span over 20 countries and nearly all 50 states. The company is releasing a free-for-educators offering along with its first collection of five standards-aligned, project-based guides across Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Art.
