Overview

Tracx provides social media management software with social listening and analytics capabilities to help companies hear and react to the full conversation online. The platform is used by clients including Sears, EA Games, Nestle, and BAE. The company closed a $12.5m funding round to support growth. The round was led by Camden Partners with participation from Edison Partners and Tracx CEO Rick Rudman. In conjunction with the funding, Jason Tagler, Partner at Camden Partners, will join Tracx's Board of Directors. Tracx intends to use the funds to increase sales and marketing efforts and to expand the product presence. Tracx offers a SaaS-based social enterprise technology platform featuring big data architecture, advanced intelligence, and management tools to help companies connect with customers across social media. The platform captures a 360-degree view of activity around a brand, product, or ecosystem and provides geographic, demographic, and psychographic insights to identify and target influencers, improve planning, enhance monitoring, and enable focused engagement. Tracx serves Fortune 1000 clients and is led by CEO Eran Gilad. The company will use the new capital to accelerate product development, expand sales and support staff, and grow its global offices. Tracx has offices in New York City, Tel Aviv, and London. As of this round the company has raised $28M in total. Tracx offers a modular, scalable SaaS platform that lets brands and agencies build an “ultimate audience profile,” manage social presence, and monetize engagement across channels. The product aims to go beyond simple listening and feed management by providing end-to-end campaign planning, testing, distribution, influencer management, and detailed reporting. Its core value is a proprietary data engine that the company says collects and analyzes over a terabyte of social data every second to provide realtime audience segmentation. Tracx launched with 180 brands and agencies, including Coca‑Cola, Interpublic Group, and Porter Novelli. To support growth it recently closed a $4.4M Series B and plans to use the capital to expand into international markets, ramp up hiring, and refine its UI. The platform targets marketers seeking deeper, data-driven insight into social campaign lifecycle and ROI.
