The system, developed by Slovenian company EFOS, claims to monitor more than 50 insect species and has thousands of traps deployed in fields. Trapview aggregates a large database of pest data and predictive algorithms to serve a wide spectrum of farmers and value‑chain stakeholders. Its solutions are present in more than 40 countries and are used across crops from tomatoes in Brazil and almonds in California to vines in Italy and salad greens in France and Spain. The company says its platform helps farmers work more sustainably and reduce production costs by cutting pesticide usage. Trapview has raised new capital to accelerate commercialisation and international expansion. Trapview positions its technology to enable earlier, more targeted spraying decisions to reduce overall chemical insecticide use and support more sustainable farming. The company has a strategic relationship with Kubota and has recently completed new financing to support its growth. Founded in 2007 in Slovenia, Trapview has pivoted from IT research into integrated pest management and commercial deployment of its monitoring platform.
