Treyd is a buy-now-pay-later service for supplier invoices that pays suppliers on behalf of customers, who repay Treyd up to four months later. The company is a regulated payment institution with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen). Since its March 2022 Series A, Treyd has expanded into the UK and throughout the Nordics and has financed $149M of purchases for SMEs in Northern Europe. Treyd intends to use the new funds to grow in existing markets and to invest in its core product offering. The company was founded by Peter Beckman and Sameh El-Ansary and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
