TRUSS builds AI-enabled data infrastructure for resale, creating millions of product profiles containing detailed information about fashion items. Its core product helps businesses list products more efficiently, improve searchability and boost conversion rates. The company is working with the University of Warwick, Depop and Selfridges to develop an algorithm that can recognise an item from a single image. TRUSS plans to use new funding to enhance its tech capabilities, expand and enrich its product catalogue, grow the team and develop further commercial partnerships. The startup is already supporting major fashion retailers and is UK-based, founded by Warwick University graduates Woody Lello (CEO), Felix Jackson (COO), Jack Cardwell (CIO) and Connor Mattinson (CTO).
