Tsuyo is a Greater Noida–based company specializing in the design and manufacture of integrated powertrain systems, including electric motors and transmission assemblies, for 3- and 4-wheelers, light and heavy commercial vehicles, and off-road EV applications. Acting as a tier-1 supplier, the company has delivered more than 150,000 powertrain units and works with over 25 original equipment manufacturers, while also exporting to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the Philippines. Its product range includes high-wattage electric motors from 15 kW to 250 kW, and it intends to expand sales into Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, and Europe. To bolster innovation, Tsuyo maintains R&D capabilities focused on hardware-based embedded software, power electronics, and prototype development. The firm is now planning its third greenfield manufacturing facility with an initial annual capacity of 20,000 motors and a dedicated vehicle-testing track that will meet PM E-DRIVE and FAME standards. A second advanced R&D center will also be set up to deepen work in power electronics and embedded systems. These expansions are aimed at meeting growing EV demand in India, where 7.02 million EVs are registered and quarterly EV sales topped 560,000 units in Q3 2025.
