Turpitude is a Walnut Creek, California–based independent online, mobile and social game company. It was founded in 2008 by Chief Creative Officer Stieg Hedlund with partners Natalie Fay and Trevor Shackelford. The company originally designed cutting-edge game monetization systems and viral content for clients including Disney, Zynga and Playdom before launching its own IP in 2010. Its first social title, Wedding Street, launched late last year. Turpitude closed a $1M Series A and plans to use the funds to launch new products and build a network of games across online, mobile and social platforms.
