Overview
Tinaps builds an "AI Trust Layer" to validate AI agent outputs and execution in real time, targeting environments that require high reliability and regulatory compliance such as finance and the public sector. Its system reviews AI-generated responses and execution results before external delivery, blocks incorrect reasoning, numerical and logical errors, internal data leakage, and jailbreak attempts, and automatically stores tamper-proof audit records for liability tracking. The team was founded by CEO Kang Min-seung, who drew on experience as a fintech CTO, and includes AI researchers from Google Research and engineers with large-scale traffic experience. Tinaps is conducting PoCs with major domestic commercial banks and has received recognition in startup competitions hosted by global tech firms like NVIDIA and Snowflake. Financially, the company has raised about ₩4.9 billion in cumulative funding within eight months of founding (including a pre-seed from Mashup Ventures and a ~₩4.5 billion seed) and has secured up to ₩800 million in TIPS R&D grant support. The company plans to further develop finance-specific verification models from PoC data and to expand into other regulated sectors such as healthcare and public services.
