Upflow

33 Irving Pl, New York, 10003, United States

Overview

Upflow's core product is a SaaS platform that helps finance leaders optimize accounts receivable. The company is launching Payments by Upflow, an add-on designed to bring consumer e-commerce payment experiences to B2B payments and modernize payment rails for B2B companies. Payments by Upflow integrates with the existing Upflow platform to offer online payment options and autopay tailored to complex B2B requirements. Upflow positions the new offering as a 'Financial Relationship Management' tool intended to make paying a positive experience that fosters repeat purchase, loyalty, and brand love. The company says the product will help merchants provide smoother payment experiences and reduce delays and friction in collections. The new funding will support bringing the payments product to market and scaling B2B payment online globally. Upflow offers a payments and invoicing platform that centralizes outstanding invoices, tracks payments, enables team communication and sends automated or personalized payment reminders. It integrates with existing business tools including QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Chargebee and Stripe Billing so customers can keep their invoicing stack. Upflow also provides payment links with multiple payment methods and can connect to Stripe Payments to accept cards. The company reports that 1.5 million companies have interacted with the product, representing over $1 billion in payments. Upflow plans to expand to the U.S. and will open an office in New York, where it already has customers such as Lattice, Front and Adikteev. Co-founder and CEO Alexandre Louisy framed the product as adding connectivity and clarity to companies' payment and invoicing stacks. Upflow provides a SaaS payment 'brick' that sits between a company’s bank account and its customers to automate invoice tracking and collections. The product lets teams send invoices and emails from a shared interface so the sales team stays aligned. When a customer transfers money, Upflow can instantly mark the invoice as paid and it transfers funds back to the company’s bank account daily. The platform surfaces insights on recurring customers, total outstanding receivables, and enables sending reminders to late payers. Upflow aims to replace manual Excel-based invoice workflows with a collaborative, automated solution. The company has raised $2.7 million (€2.5 million) from Kima Ventures, eFounders and various business angels.
