Urologic Health is developing the niu™ System, a non-invasive platform designed to capture bladder activity and convert it into clinically meaningful diagnostic data without catheterization. The company has completed early feasibility studies that it says demonstrate clinically meaningful capture of bladder activity and is pursuing an FDA 510(k) regulatory pathway. The niu™ System is not yet approved for sale in the United States and is currently limited to investigational use. Urologic Health was co-founded by Adam Yaacov and Dr. Noam Omer and was incubated at the MEDX Xelerator (now EdgeLabs); it operates within the Edge Medical Ventures portfolio with operations in the U.S. and Israel. Following an $11 million seed financing, the company plans to use proceeds for clinical validation, product and manufacturing development, initial U.S. commercialization efforts, and establishment of its Jersey City headquarters.
