- Urologic Health
Participated · Seed · May 2026
Urologic Health is developing the niu™ System, a non-invasive platform designed to capture bladder activity and convert it into clinically meaningful diagnostic data without catheterization. The company has completed early feasibility studies that it says demonstrate clinically meaningful capture of bladder activity and is pursuing an FDA 510(k) regulatory pathway. The niu™ System is not yet approved for sale in the United States and is currently limited to investigational use. Urologic Health was co-founded by Adam Yaacov and Dr. Noam Omer and was incubated at the MEDX Xelerator (now EdgeLabs); it operates within the Edge Medical Ventures portfolio with operations in the U.S. and Israel. Following an $11 million seed financing, the company plans to use proceeds for clinical validation, product and manufacturing development, initial U.S. commercialization efforts, and establishment of its Jersey City headquarters.
- Synchrony Medical
Led · Equity · Feb 2026
Synchrony Medical is a respiratory care technology company focused on improving airway clearance therapy for people with chronic lung conditions. Its flagship product, the FDA-cleared LibAirty™ Airway Clearance System, allows patients to perform daily home treatments that have demonstrated the ability to clear twice as much sputum as conventional therapies while increasing comfort and satisfaction. Commercially launched in late 2025, the device has received strong early adoption from both patients and clinicians. The company plans to use new capital to scale U.S. commercial operations, expand its clinical evidence base, and advance product development. Headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey, with additional operations in Or Yehuda, Israel, Synchrony collaborates with leading pulmonologists from Sheba Medical Center and has been supported by Edge Medical Ventures’ EdgeLabs and the Israel Innovation Authority. Although revenue and user figures were not disclosed, the oversubscribed nature of the recent round underscores market demand and investor confidence in the company’s growth trajectory.
- Exero Medical
Participated · Seed · Feb 2025
Exero Medical's flagship product, the xBar system, uses sensors placed at the surgical site to collect tissue-healing data that can help clinicians detect major, life-threatening post-operative complications earlier. The xBar has received FDA Breakthrough Device Designation and is currently limited to investigational use in the United States. The company plans to complete an FDA pivotal trial and launch the xBar system in the U.S.; it has established a new U.S. headquarters at Scitech Scity at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, NJ to support clinical and commercial activities. Exero was founded in 2018 by MEDX Xelerator and is backed by public- and private-sector supporters named in the company's materials. Financially, Exero has secured financing to advance its regulatory program and U.S. expansion. The company emphasizes improving patient outcomes and reducing costs by adding new postoperative health data into clinical workflows.
