Financially, Valoreo has closed a $30M Series A and previously secured $50M in a mix of debt and equity; including debt, it has secured $80M since inception. The company plans to use the new capital mostly to continue acquiring e-commerce brands across Mexico, Brazil and Colombia and to expand hiring. Valoreo acquires, operates and scales e-commerce merchants that sell on marketplaces such as Mercado Libre, Amazon and Linio, and also develops brands in-house. The company targets category-leading products with growth potential and typically buys majority stakes using upfront cash plus a profit‑share component. Valoreo says it can move from initial contact to payout in under five weeks and deploys specialists in digital marketing and supply chain to grow acquired brands. Founded in late 2020, the startup has a team of about 10 and recently closed a large seed financing. It plans to use the new capital to acquire and develop brands, expand its infrastructure and operations, and grow its team. Valoreo is currently focused on Mexico and Brazil with planned expansion into other Latin American countries such as Colombia.
