Vectice

785 Market Street, Suite 700, San Francisco, CA, 94103, United States

Overview

Vectice provides a data science knowledge-capturing and sharing solution that auto-captures the assets data science teams create for a project (datasets, code, notebooks, models, runs, illustrations). The platform automatically generates documentation throughout the project lifecycle, from business requirements to production deployment. Led by CEO Cyril Brignone, the company recently began inviting selected accounts to a private beta. Vectice intends to use new funding to expand its reach and enable positive AI impact on a global scale. Financially, Vectice raised $12.6M in a Series A, bringing total funding to $15.6M. Vectice provides a single repository and dashboard for data-science teams to share, collaborate on and track assets (code, experiments, models, datasets and notebooks) while integrating with tools like GitHub, Airflow, GitLab and Google Docs. The product is positioned as a system of record rather than an execution environment, aggregating metadata from cloud ML services such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML and Google AI to give end-to-end visibility and asset lineage. Founded in March by Cyril Brignone (former Arrayent CEO and Vator.tv co-founder) and Gregory Haardt (former Lattice Engines CTO), the company spent months working with roughly 30 Fortune 2000 firms to understand enterprise needs. Vectice has no customers yet but plans a private beta in August and is targeting large enterprises with tens of data scientists rather than SMBs. The startup has 14 employees and plans to more than double headcount by year-end. It will use the new funding to build product features and hire additional engineers and sales and go-to-market staff.
