Vega is an alternative investment technology company focused on solving the client-service and distribution challenges of private-markets asset managers. Its flagship product, Vega AltOS, acts as a ‘core’ system that orchestrates pre-trade, execution and post-trade operations while allowing managers to offer “Alternatives-as-a-Service” connectivity to institutional, family-office, advisor and wealth channels. The modular, API-based platform replaces fragmented point solutions and supports direct integration with third-party stakeholders. As part of a new partnership, Apollo will migrate its institutional, family office and global wealth client servicing onto AltOS and contribute Edna—an employee investment platform with more than $2 billion in AUM—into Vega, expanding the product’s GP solutions. Founded by former executives from KKR, Blackstone, Elliott, Goldman Sachs and fintech scale-ups such as Revolut and Trade Republic, Vega has raised more than $28 million to date. The company’s funding includes an $8 million seed round and the newly announced $20 million Series A, giving it the capital to accelerate product development and industry partnerships aimed at establishing AltOS as the standard infrastructure layer for alternatives.
