With the new funding, the company plans to expand to 100 cities, invest in technology, and launch new products to deepen its product value chains. Vegrow aims to build the world’s biggest asset-light farm by partnering with small farms on a profit-sharing model. The company provides technology-enabled services across the farming cycle, including crop planning, access to quality inputs, monitoring adherence to best practices, and selling harvests to appropriate buyers. Its platform is designed to increase farmers’ net earnings by optimizing operations and market access. Vegrow was founded in April this year by Praneeth Kumar, Shobhit Jain, Mrudhukar Batchu and Kiran Naik and is based in Bengaluru.
