Overview
Viable’s core product ingests qualitative customer feedback from sources like Zendesk, Intercom, app stores and .csv files, classifies text (complaints, compliments, requests, questions) and produces weekly "push" reports plus an on-demand natural-language Q&A interface. The platform combines OpenAI’s GPT-3 (including embeddings and completion) with Viable’s own fine-tuned models, thematic-analysis engine and ingestion pipeline to perform sentiment, emotion, urgency and topic analysis. Viable offers out-of-the-box and custom integrations, different subscription tiers by data volume, and a managed written-analysis service. The company began in 2020 as Viable Fit and pivoted from product-market-fit tooling to focus on NLP-driven feedback analysis. Viable says its models are trained to avoid toxic language and reduce hallucination by constraining outputs to facts from ingested feedback. The company has about a dozen paying customers and nine employees and is expanding its scope beyond customer feedback to other experience types (employee, partner). Viable is a San Francisco, CA–based analytics startup that automates text analysis of customer feedback using artificial intelligence. Its core product is a qualitative feedback analysis tool that aggregates, structures, and analyzes text from surveys, helpdesk tickets, app store reviews, and other sources to deliver plain-language answers. Users can ask questions and receive immediate insights in seconds. Viable leverages OpenAI's GPT-3 language model to extract insights at enterprise scale. Co-founded by Dan and Jeff Erickson, the company raised $3.9M in pre-seed and seed funding led by Craft Ventures and Javelin Venture Partners. The company intends to use the funds to bring its qualitative feedback analysis AI tool to market.
