Violet Labs is developing a cloud platform that aggregates data from multiple hardware development tools, generating API requests to collate information into a single database. The product includes a no-code user interface intended as an all-in-one toolkit for hardware engineers. Founders Lucy Hoag and Caitlin Curtis—who met at Amazon’s Project Kuiper—are targeting aerospace, autonomous vehicles and robotics teams that currently stitch workflows together manually. The company has built a prototype, secured initial customer conversations and struck integration agreements with tools including Duro and Jama. Violet says the platform can reduce multi-month prototype timelines to days or weeks by removing manual handoffs and human error. The team plans to use new funding to accelerate product development and hire additional full-stack software developers.
